Arjay Group has business legacy of more than 6 decades and commenced textile manufacturing and marketing of garments in 1981. The multimillion dollar Arjay Group of Companies is owned by Sanghai Family.

The textile division has its production base at Tirupur in South India with its corporate office in Mumbai. The group has its textile export division under Someshwara Industries and Exports Limited formerly known as R.J. Knitwears Limited. Arjay Apparel Industries Limited deals in manufacturing and marketing of textile products in the Indian domestic market.

The Arjay Group has since diversified in to various other fields, including manufacture and exports of speciality chemicals (Optical Brightening Agents, Polymer Derivatives, Fatty Acid Easters), Information Technology, Bulk Drugs, marketing of FMCG / Consumer Products, trading in Industrial Products and Financial activities.
